IIPPT FOUNDATION

IIPPT FOUNDATION, a subsidiary of Indian Institute of Priniting and Packaging Technology, started working in March 98. It had a clear objective of helping and guiding good Indian students seeking admission in US Universities for higher education.
We started a modest beginning by sending four students in fall’98 Semester to our parent Pittsburg State University. It proved to be a milestone, and we could send six students in Spring’99 Semester to Pittsburg State Universtiy. Now we have more than 30 students to go to PSU, Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago and Troy State University, Alabama in the Fall 99 Semester.
Today we have relationship with 12 US good Universities and plan to send good number of students to US Universities every semester.

To widen our scope of selection of Indian students for higher educat‭ion in US Universities, IIPPT plans to organise American Education Fairs in New Delhi, Bombay, Calcutta, Madras etc. in rotation every semester.
Some US Universities have already given their consent to join this Event. We hope, University representatives will be able to select good number of students for their for their universities at these American Education Fairs.

The US Embassy in New Delhi is aware of the Educational activities of IIPPT Foundation. IIPPT sponsored students receive priority in grant of US Visa. We can boast of this for 100% IIPPT students have received US Visa so far.

Another big achievement of this year for IIPPT is to start Hostel Facilities for the Indian students at Pittsburg and Troy from August semester. It will provide low cost accomodation to indian students. This has the approval of both the Universities, who are fully co-operating in this project. the profits earned by the IIPPT from the Hostel project will be passed on to the Universities for granting scholarships to the Indian students.
This is a bold step to held Indian students. IIPPT had vision of its own hostels for Indian Students and that has come to reality and that too so soon.

IIPPT has recently singed agreements with Troy State University and Pittsburg State University for granting Scholarships to every selected and admitted student to these two Universities. This will also help all our students to have US Visa. As already explained the scholarship money will come from the IIPPT Foundation. Profits from running Hostels at Troy and Pittsburg. All Formalities with regard to establishment of offices of Foundation and Bank Accounts have been completed. This is certainly a great achievement of the IIPPT and the project could be the made functional only with help of University authorities of Troy and Pittsburg.
